Title: Some boundary unique continuation problems
Speaker: Zongyuan Li, City University of Hong Kong
Abstract: In this talk, we discuss boundary unique continuation properties for linear elliptic equations. We focus on minimum smooth requirements on the boundaries and on coefficients, when Almgren-type monotonicity formulas are not available. Part of the talk is based on joint work with Dennis Kriventsov (Rutgers, USA).
Bio: Zongyuan Li received his PhD from the Division of Applied Math, Brown University in 2020, and his BSc from Fudan University in 2015. Before joining the City University of Hong Kong, he served as a Hill Assistant Professor at Rutgers University. His research primarily focuses on the regularity theories of elliptic and parabolic PDEs.
