Title: The Diederich-Fornæss index and the  ̄∂-Neumann problem
Speaker: Bingyuan Liu
Bio: Prof. Liu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He received his PhD from Washington University in St. Louis. After his graduation, Prof. Liu served as a postdoc at University of California at Riverside and University of Arkansas. Prof. Liu’s research lies in several complex variables, complex geometry, and PDEs. Many of his work have been published in prestigious journals including Advances in Mathematics, Communications in Partial Differential Equations, Indiana University Mathematics Journal.
