Title: Asymptotic behavior of eigenfunctions on compact manifolds
Speaker: Xing Wang (Hunan University)
Abstract: In this report, I will share my perspective on eigenfunctions on compact manifolds based on my recent work, along with some open problems related to my research.
Bio: Xing Wang, Associate Professor at the School of Mathematics, Hunan University, holds a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, where he studied under Professor Christopher Sogge. His primary research interests lie in harmonic analysis on manifolds and the asymptotic properties of operator spectra. He has published multiple research papers in prestigious academic journals, including Advances in Mathematics, Communications in Mathematical Physics, Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Canadian Journal of Mathematics, and Journal of Spectral Theory.
